Phil, the car is not an SA car – it has the Fellpoint body id under the bonnet. The SA ones have different rear window shapes (squared off at the base – a registration requirement) and the shell doesn’t have the pronounced dip around the shape of the window – just smooth to the glass line. The SA ones were marketed as the Taylorspeed Jem.

I wonder if anyone in your club would be able to help me.
I am trying to find out what the following would be worth.
Its a 1980 Fleetwood Brougham, 2 door ,with a 368 cu in motor.
The car is original and in excellent condition, its a dark blue colour.
Would there be much demand for this vehicle?

5 million dollars? I don’t know about that, but if Tuckers keep going up parabolically like they have been in the last few years, the Tucker convertible could very easily hit that price! If more documentation shows up, like it does as time passes by, then the convertible could hit 25 million easily in a heartbeat! It is kind of like an ace card!

I wish some of the old rules would be reinforced, particularly keep left unless passing. Just this alone would free up the passing lanes. I would dearly live a new limit of 120 -130kph (uk). Certainly the cars are capable, if we could just get the driving standard and awareness up to equal it.

What a magnificent piece of writing and research. Beautiful job on the Camaro. Mate of mine originally from Puke’ bought Louie’s old strip Mk IV Zehpyr and drove it on the street for a bit, sign writing intact with a 460 Ford and C6 in it. He remembered Louie having a 59 Ford and doing high speed interesting things late at nite with it that involved young women and rum.
