Hampton Downs Motorsport Park officials have announced that due to some of the site still being a construction zone and health and safety issues that need to be resolved this weekends racing events have been postponed. Additionally Motorsport New Zealand are unwilling to issue a permit for the meetings as some safety areas of the track needed to be improved to comply with circuit certification.

The First Official Speed Day scheduled for tomorrow (31 October) has been rescheduled for the 14 November. The Lotus Club race meeting scheduled for Sunday (November 1) is being assessed for a possible replacement day later in November. Club Lotus will announce the new date early next week.
