News: HRSCC to host Taupo race meeting

HRSCC to host Taupo race meeting

The Historic Racing and Sports Car Club are hosting a race meeting on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of December 2008 on Track 3 of the Taupo Raceway.

Competitors must have a race licence to enter, and there will be four race classes.

The Taupo meeting is to celebrate 50 years of the Mallock U2, there will be at least two races for Mallock’s, replicas and Mallock inspired cars. On the Sunday there will be a lunchtime parade of U2 cars.

There will be a barbeque on site for lunch on both days and dinner will be at the track on Saturday night.
