News: Loeb and Sordo show off at Goodwood

CITROEN C4 2

At the recently held Goodwood Festival of Speed, five times World Rally Champion, Sebastien Loeb, and his teammate and former Junior WRC Champion, Dani Sordo showed off to all in attendance along the forest rally stage. Currently placed second and third in the 2009 WRC Championship respectively and driving their Kronos Total Citroën C4 WRC rally cars, both drivers smashed the existing record for the rally stage, and enjoyed the joint fastest time of the weekend.

While both drivers were pitted against many legendary Group B era rally cars, none were able to touch the modern Citroen C4. Re-writing the record books on his practice run, Loeb proceeded to go quicker and quicker across the first day of competition, before Sordo stepped up to take over driving duties on the second day. Despite being out of the driver’s seat, Loeb found himself still inside a car, this time strapped into the co-driver seat for current IRC Championship leader, Kris Meeke.
