Many people are talking economic downturn, but for Kiwi car mechanics around the country it’s business as usual. Independent shops, in particular, are busier than ever as more New Zealanders commit to maintaining their older vehicles instead of replacing them.
To help get the job done, Shell is introducing a number of sweeping changes to its Shell Helix range of motor oils, designed to keep motors running longer.
The Shell Helix range is being completely made over, with new names, new labels and packaging and in some cases new formulations. Shell Helix Ultra remains top of the range, representing the most advanced motor oil technology. The Shell Helix Ultra range of products includes the Low SAPS Shell Helix Ultra Extra 5W-30, designed specifically for modern diesel engines fitted with exhaust after treatment devices.
With the introduction of the new names and labels, mechanics will find Shell’s products clearer and easier to understand. New packaging is also being introduced for 1, 4 and 5 litre packs, designed to make pouring your oil easier and safer, with less spillage.
