Today we stumbled across this Mercedes AMG drifting video, featuring one of the companies top stunt drivers — Ed Redfern. The video shows just how easy it is to get the new Mercedes SLS AMG sideways (especially when your drifting it on a wet track). Filmed in black and white adds a hint of class to the tyre squealing action — not to mention the rousing classical music.

The Mercedes SLS AMG is powered by a stonking 6.2 litre AMG engine which produces 571 hp and 650 Nm of torque, all delivered to those highly stressed back wheels. With that in mind ,why wouldn’t it be easy to drift?
